Prime Minister Maris Kucinskis (Greens/Farmers) will at the beginning of next year evaluate each minister’s performance, Kucinskis says in an interview with the Neatkariga Rita Avize newspaper.
Should he find that some minister’s performance has been dissatisfactory, consequences will be dire.
Kucinskis is very well aware of what each minister is doing and what problems there are in every sector. If these problems prevent a minister from moving on, he or she could be dismissed, the premier warns in the interview.
