Latvian MEP Artis Pabriks has proposed amendments to the European Parliament’s migration policy.
In a statement issued by his assistant, Pabriks claimed that the national interests of small countries should be taken into account when accepting refugees.
He added that European Union member states should only be accepting asylum seekers voluntarily.
