Latvian health care trade union starts planning strike

RIGA - The Latvian Trade Union of Health and Social Care Employees (LVSADA) decided on Tuesday to organize a protest demonstration in front of the parliament building and to start preparations for a strike, BNS was told at the trade union. The main reason for the planned protests is the government’s plans for further reduction of the health care budget.
