Latvian hacker returns from US jail

RIGA - Latvian citizen Deniss Calovskis, who was recently convicted of cyber crimes by a US court, has arrived back to Latvia. “Hello everyone. Thank you for your support. I have returned to Riga,” Calovskis wrote in his Facebook account today. As reported, a US district court in December sentenced Calovskis to 20-1/2 months in prison — which he had already served in jail and pretrial custody pending extradition to the United States, Bloomberg reports.
