The State Secretary of the Latvian Foreign Ministry, Andrejs Pildegovics, will take part in the Deputy Foreign Ministers Meeting of the Council of the Baltic Sea States (CBSS) in Warsaw on June 8, the Foreign Ministry said.
During the meeting, participants will address current developments in regional cooperation between the countries around the Baltic Sea, including co-operation with other regional formats and future prospects for the CBSS. They are also expected to grant observer status to Hungary and appoint the next Director General of the CBSS Secretariat.
