Latvian Cyber Defence head hospitalised through alcohol

An internal inquiry is under way to establish how Major Gatis Graudins, the commander of the cyber-defense unit of the Latvian Home Guard, ended up in hospital with alcohol intoxication, Latvian Defense Ministry spokesman, Kaspars Galkins, told BNS. Galkins said that despite ministry’s current refusal to comment on the case, an internal inquiry is presently under way to establish all the circumstances, and a decision on Major Graudins' further service will be taken after full information is received from the the Latvian police.
