Latvian Corruption Prevention Bureau chief again fires his deputy

Jaroslavs Strelcenoks, chief of the Latvian Corruption Prevention Bureau (KNAB), fired his long-standing deputy Juta Strike today. It was Strelcenoks’ fourth attempt to do so over the past two years; previous efforts failed as Strike was always reinstated, last time by a court ruling.
