Latvian Security Police (SP) have launched three criminal processes for vote-buying in the 2017 municipal elections, as confirmed by deputy chief of Security Police Ints Ulmanis in an interview with De Facto of LTV.
At the same time, Ulmanis confirmed there may be new criminal cases in the future.
De Facto reports that SP continue checking information about possible vote-buying activities in Rezekne. “Work continues. We cannot exclude the possibility of new processes appearing in the near future,” he told De Facto.
