Latvian authorities concerned about rise in mail-order drugs

In recent years, there has been a rise in drug contraband via the mail order and the practice is getting popular among youngsters in Latvia, the Latvian State Revenue Service said. Kaspars Podins, Director of the Tax and Customs Police under the State Revenue Service, told the press that in the first quarter of this year 64 mail packages with drugs were intercepted compared to 80 packages during the whole last year.
