Latvia will suspend the issuing of visas to Russian citizens

RIGA - Latvia will suspend the issuing of visas to Russian citizens, Foreign Minister Edgars Rinkevics posted on his Twitter account today.

Taking into account the Russian aggression in Ukraine, the Minister has decided to recall Latvian Ambassador to Russia Maris Riekstins for consultations, as well as to suspend issuing Latvian visas to Russian citizens, except in cases related to special humanitarian considerations.
