Latvia shows higher employment rate than average in EU

Last year employment rate of people aged 20 to 64 in Latvia was 74.8 percent, which is higher than average in the EU, and Latvia was one of the nine member states in the bloc who reached or exceeded the 2020 employment target, according to the latest Eurostat data released on April 20.
