RIGA - No new Covid-19 cases were recorded in Latvia in the last 24 hours as 686 people were tested for the novel coronavirus infection, but an elderly patient passed away in hospital, according to the data released by the Center for Disease Prevention and Control.
The deceased patient was 85 to 90 years old and suffered from several chronic ailments.
The total number of Covid-19 tests in Latvia has thus grown to 66,150 and confirmed Covid-19 cases stands at 896. The contagion has claimed the lives of 17 people.
