The major military exercise Namejs 2018, that is to be completed on September 5, has not revealed any problems, but it does serve as a reminder that the National Armed Forces have to continue armament upgrades and infrastructure development, Chief of Defense, Lieutenant General Leonids Kalnins said in an interview with Latvian Television on August 27.
The first conclusions from the military exercise are very good, all participants have been doing a great job, and Kalnins is in particular very pleased with the Armed Forces' new howitzers.
