Latvia's Defence Chief does not see need to reintroduce conscription

Latvia’s Defence Chief, Lieutenant General Raimonds Graube believes there is no need to re-introduce conscription in Latvia, and added it would require huge budget allocations and re-investments in infrastructure.  Latvia is the only Baltic state to have not brought back conscription in recent years.
