Latvia’s Creative Agency 'McCann Riga' Recognised as the Best in the Baltics

“McCann Riga” has been named this year’s best creative agency in the Baltics. This title is awarded based on an overall ranking compiled from the most significant international advertising and communications festivals, where agencies are evaluated for creative excellence, strategic thinking, and the real-world impact of their campaigns. 

The ranking is compiled based on agency performance at festivals such as “Cannes Lions”, “Effie Awards”, “EPICA Awards”, “Clio Awards”, “Eurobest”, “Golden Drum”, “KIAF Awards”, “D&AD”, “ADCE Awards”, “The One Show”, as well as other industry competitions. This system is considered one of the most objective indicators of quality in the creative industry in the Baltic region, where points are awarded for each award and the overall score is compiled by Estonia's leading industry organization, “Best Marketing”.

In 2025, McCann Riga delivered particularly strong results not only in campaigns for business clients, but also in campaigns of social significance - most notably the State Blood Donor Centre campaign “The Drying Flag” (“Piepildi karogu”) and the “Getliņi EKO” organic waste sorting campaign “Bipa is Starving” (“Bipa ir badā”). 

The “SSE Riga” alumni fundraising campaign “The SSE500” gained especially strong international recognition, receiving gold at “Effie Europe” for strategic effectiveness at the European level. Meanwhile, projects for the State Blood Donor Centre and “Getliņi EKO” proved that advertising can be a powerful tool for social change by combining creativity with responsibility towards society.

Over the years, McCann Riga has significantly expanded its international operations, working with an increasingly broad portfolio of export clients in France, the Netherlands, Germany, China, and Switzerland, placing Latvia on the map of European creative and strategic excellence. This confirms that strategic and creative thinking developed in Latvia can compete globally and create communication that resonates across different cultures and markets.

McCann Riga has also won the “Agency of the Year” title at the “Adwards” festival for eight consecutive years, and in 2025 it was recognised as the best agency in Latvia at the “Mi:t&Links” Baltic festival.
