Latvia registers EU’s sixth highest unemployment level

The unemployment rate in Latvia in November last year was 9.6 per cent, or the sixth highest among the EU Member States which had made their data available, according to the latest Eurostat data. The following EU Member States had higher unemployment than Latvia in November 2016 - Spain (19.2 per cent), Cyprus (14.2 per cent), Italy (11.9 per cent), Croatia (11.4 per cent), Portugal (10.5 per cent).
