Latvia posts EU's sixth largest annual deflation in June - Eurostat

Latvian consumer prices fell 0.6 per cent against this time last year in the sixth largest deflation rate of all EU member nations, the latest data released by Eurostat indicates. Last month, annual inflation was reported in 14 EU member states, while 13 countries recorded deflation. The greatest annual deflation was found in Cyprus where consumer prices dropped 2 per cent from June 2015, Bulgaria followed with 1.9 per cent, and Croatia with 1.2 per cent annual deflation.
