Latvia–Monaco: Building Bridges in Business, Culture, and Innovation

On 17 September 2025, the Monaco Economic Board (MEB) had the pleasure of hosting H.E. Madame Alise Balode, Ambassador of Latvia, together with Mr. Guillaume Rose and Latvian Consul Mr. Jean-Claude Eude.

The meeting highlighted the many opportunities for cooperation between Monaco and Latvia, particularly in the fields of investment, cultural exchange, and economic development.

As part of her official visit to present letters of credence to H.S.H. Prince Albert II, Ambassador Balode proposed closer engagement with Monaco’s business community. In response, the MEB organized a Business Destination conference at MonacoTech, followed by a convivial cocktail that brought together members of the Latvian community in Monaco, eager to contribute to this new dynamic.

This event marks a promising step toward strengthening ties between Monaco and Latvia, with the active support of H.S.H. Prince Albert II, whose leadership continues to inspire meaningful partnerships across Europe and beyond.

At the close of the meeting, Ambassador Balode also met with Professor Franco Borruto, President of the Monaco Baltic States Association A warm thank you to all participants and to the Monaco Baltic States Association for making this encounter possible.
