Latvia decides on new restrictions to stem the spread of COVID-19

As COVID-19 cases continue climbing, the Latvian government has decided on a number of measures aiming to stave off the spread of the coronavirus. Starting from October 24, the maximum number of people allowed in private events was reduced from 30 to 10 indoors and from 300 to 100 outdoors.  Other restrictions that came into force on October 26 included the limitation of the number of people allowed to gather for public or business events – it will go down from 500 to 300 indoors.
