RIGA - The Corporate Governance Committee at the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development has issued a positive report on Latvia’s compliance with the OECD principles, and technical talks on Latvia’s accession to the OECD have therefore concluded, said Foreign Minister Edgars Rinkevics on Monday, April 18.
The OECD Council will discuss Latvia’s OECD membership in May, Rinkevics said on Twitter.
In order to close the technical talks on OECD membership, Latvia had to receive positive assessments from 21 OECD committees.
