Latvia and Germany to perform observation flights in Russia next week

RIGA - Next week from May 15 to May 19, representatives from Latvian Armed Forces and German Bundeswehr will be performing observation flights in Russia aboard a Saab-340 aircraft of the Swedish Armed Forces, the Defense Ministry's representative Mairita Senkevicina told BNS.

Several military facilities in Russia will be photographed during the flights.

The observation flights will be performed as part of the Open Skies agreement.
