 An attentive and complete room in each available seat listened to the conference dedicated to François René de Châteaubriand
 After the introduction given by Prof. Franco Borruto on the historical context and on the exile in Latvia of the future King of France Louis XVIII (hence the involvement of the Association Monaco Pays Baltes in the organization of the symposium) the  personality of the man Châteaubriand is sketched in the turbulent period of Revolution of the consulate the empire then as an actor of the restoration realigned to the Bourbons who will use him as a "useless useful" giving him positions and posts in which he does not do  no proof of great efficiency and great capacity: HE Laurent Stefanini describes the stages in detail and then leaves it to Hervé Louboutin to illustrate the true talent of Chateaubriand, that of writer of the lyric poet capable of writing  immortal passages, pride of French literature and heritage of universal culture

Après l'introduction faite par le prof Franco Borruto sur le contexte historique et sur l'exil en Lettonie du futur roi de France Louis XVIII (d'où l'implication de l'Association Monaco Pays Baltes dans l'organisation du colloque) la personnalité de l'homme Châteaubriand  est esquissé dans la période mouvementée de Révolution du consulat l'empire puis comme acteur de la restauration réaligné aux Bourbons qui l'utiliseront comme un "utile  inutile" lui donnant des positions et des postes dans lesquels il ne fait pas preuve d'une grande efficacité et d'une grande capacité : SE Laurent Stefanini décrit en détail les étapes et laisse ensuite à Hervé Louboutin le soin d'illustrer le vrai talent de Chateaubriand  celui d'écrivain du poète lyrique capable d'écrire des passages immortels, fierté de la littérature française et héritage de la culture universelle
