RIGA - Kyrgyz parliament speaker Dastanbek Dzhumabekov and a delegation will make an official visit to Latvia on October 14-16, LETA learned from the parliament press service.
On October 15, Dzhumabekov is scheduled to meet with Latvian parliament speaker Inara Murniece and deputy speaker Dagmara Beitnere-Le Galla.
The Kyrgyz official will take part in a flower laying ceremony by the Freedom Monument and visit the Latvian National Library, presenting a book to the People's Book Shelf.
Also, Dzhumabekov will meet with Latvian President Egils Levits.
On October 16, the Kyrgyz parliament speaker will meet with Latvian Foreign Ministry Edgars Rinkevics (New Unity).
