TALLINN - A Kenyan business delegation is visiting Estonia from Feb. 17 to 25 to learn about the country's innovation, technology, and financial sectors and discuss potential cooperation between the two countries and their businesses.
During the visit, the delegation is to meet with Foreign Minister Margus Tsahkna, sign a cooperation agreement between the Estonian and Kenyan chambers of commerce and industry, participate in seminars and business meetings, and visit companies, research centers, and business parks.
The delegation includes representatives from Kenya's leading companies and organizations, such as the Kenya National Chamber of Commerce and Industry, as well as technology firms and investors. The visitors have shown particular interest in Estonia's e-governance, financial technology, and startup ecosystem.
"Estonia's digital expertise and innovative spirit are valuable to Kenya, and this visit will further strengthen our growing economic ties. On Feb. 19, the Estonian and Kenyan chambers of commerce and industry will sign a cooperation agreement, followed by business meetings with Estonian entrepreneurs. In the afternoon, the delegation will visit several Estonian companies to get acquainted with the country's innovation and technology sector.
