Jurijus Veklenko to represent Lithuania at this year's Eurovision

VILNIUS - Jurijus Veklenko, 28, will represent Lithuania at this year's Eurovision in Tel Aviv with his song Run with the Lions after winning the national selection on Saturday.

The winner was selected by a public vote and a commission.

The Eurovision Song Contest will take lace in Tel Aviv this year, with Lithuania performing in the second semi-final on May 16. The final will be held on May 18.

Last year, Lithuania was represented by Ieva Zasimauskaite and her song When We're Old.

Lithuania was first represented at Eurovision in 1994.
