RIGA - If Covid-19 incidence in Lithuania is growing, 14-day self-isolation will be required for those people arriving in Latvia from this country, Health Ministry's representative Anna Strapcane reported.

Considering that the situation in other European countries is deteriorating, the ministry calls on everyone to review necessity of every foreign trip. Even though Lithuania right now is not in the list of the countries to which the 14-day self-isolation period applies, the situation may change in a week, the ministry noted.

If the cumulative 14-day indicator rises over 16 Covid-19 cases per 100,000 residents, the requirement of self-isolation will be in force. The same principle will apply on Estonia or any other country.
