The EU Transport Commissioner Violeta Bulc recently confirmed the European Commission’s resolution to complete the Rail Baltica construction project by 2025 regardless of the inevitable forthcoming EU budget cuts in the wake of Brexit. Starting from 2026, everybody who wants to will be able to travel from Tallinn to Warsaw via Riga and Kaunas at a speed of 240kph.
