RIGA - Harmony party and For Riga bloc have submitted the necessary 20 signatures to initiate a vote against Riga Mayor Olegs Burovs (Honor to Serve Riga, GKR), Burovs' aide Baiba Gailite confirmed.
She said that the Riga City Council has to review the issue in two weeks.
As reported, Harmony and For Riga bloc announced in early January that, even though they do not plan to leave the coalition, they will insist on ousting Burovs because it is not possible to cooperate with him.
