Harmony has decided to replace their representatives in two Riga City Council committees

RIGA – The Harmony faction at the Riga City Council has decided to replace their representatives heading two committees and the faction, said Riga City Mayor Nils Usakovs (Harmony).

Riga City Council traffic and transport committee chairman Vadims Baranniks and social affairs committee chairwoman Olga Veidina have decided to leave their positions and apply for deputy chairpersons of the Harmony faction.

Vadims Falkovs has been named for the chairman of the traffic and transport committee, and Baiba Rozentale for the chairwoman of the social affairs committee.

The two committees will convene extraordinary meetings today to elect their chairpersons.
