Lithuanian President Dalia Grybauskaite has called for the establishment of an institution that will protect children's rights.
Grybauskaite’s comments come in light of an event on January 1, 2016, which saw two children killed by their father in a bout of alcohol-induced violence.
The event took place in Lithuania’s Kedainiai district.
