's indirect Dutch owner Otravo temporarily suspends operations

VILNIUS - Otravo, a Dutch travel agency that owns Interneto Partneris (Internet Partner), the company managing, a flight ticket booking system, has temporarily suspended its activities on Thursday.

"We deeply regret to inform that Otravo was forced to make the decision to suspend its activities for a certain period of time as of December 15," Otravo stated on the website.

Otravo also said on its own website its activities would be suspended until further notice. Customers who have purchased tickets through the system do not need to do anything, it said, and customers who have not yet received their tickets should contact their airline directly.

It was impossible to book tickets on on Friday.

Otravo acquired 100 percent of shares in Interneto Partneris for an undisclosed value in the fall of 2017.

Interneto Partneris generated 860,000 euros in revenue last year, down 53 percent from 2020, and made a net profit of 90,000 euros, a drop of 23 percent, according to the Lithuanian Center of Registers.
