TALLINN - Estonia’s farms are in crisis. But the country’s grain growers are less affected and performing relatively well, according to a new report.
Findings from SEB and Swedbank estimate that grain growers are currently faring the best out of all Estonia’s farmers. But dairy and pig farmers continue to be in an extremely difficult position following sanctions and falling global milk prices hitting the dairy sector, and African Swine Fever causing the slaughter and quarantine of thousands of pigs.
