Lithuania's Government will discuss three alternatives to raising wages for doctors, Health Minister Aurelijus Veryga said after negotiations with representatives of doctors on November 16.
In his words, the finance minister should provide calculations within two weeks on the cost of the ministry-proposed option of increasing salaries by 20 per cent starting in May, as well as the costs of the proposals made by the Union of Lithuanian Doctors and the newly-established Lithuanian Medical Movement.
