RIGA - The government today passed Latvia's draft 2017 budget, with revenues forecasted at 8.066 billion euros and expenditures at 8.367 billion euros.
Compared to the 2016 budget, revenues are expected to grow by 664 million euros and expenditures by 681 million euros next year.
A revision of budget expenditures has provided an additional 60 million euros which will be spent on government initiatives and prioritised measures in various sectors. The government aims to revise the budget regularly in the future, the Finance Ministry said.
