Fuel prices rise again in Baltic capitals

TALLINN - A Friday price comparison by Circle K reveals that fuel prices in the Baltic capitals mostly increased over the past week in Tallinn, Riga, and Vilnius.

In Tallinn, gasoline prices rose by 3 cents, while the price of diesel remained at the same level as a week ago. In Riga, all fuel prices increased by 2 cents. In Vilnius, gasoline prices also rose by 2 cents, while the price of diesel increased by 4 cents.

On Friday, 95 miles gasoline in the Estonian capital cost 1.559 euros, 3.5 cents less than in Riga but 5 cents more than in Vilnius. The price of 98 miles plus gasoline in Tallinn was 1.619 euros, 4.5 cents less than in Riga and 1.1 cents more than in Vilnius.

The price of diesel fuel in Tallinn was 1.459 euros, which was 11.5 cents cheaper than in Riga and 17 cents cheaper than in Vilnius.
