TALLINN - Fuel prices in the Baltic capitals of Tallinn, Riga, and Vilnius all increased over the past week, according to a Friday price comparison by Circle K.
In Tallinn, gasoline prices rose by 11 cents and diesel fuel by 12 cents during the week. In Riga, gasoline was 8 cents more expensive, while diesel saw a steep increase of 27 cents compared to last Friday. In Vilnius, gasoline prices went up by 7.3 cents, and the price of diesel grew by 14 cents.
On Friday, the price of 95 miles gasoline in the Estonian capital was 1.739 euros, 2.5 cents more than in Riga and 5.2 cents more than in Vilnius. The price of 98 miles plus gasoline in Tallinn stood at 1.799 euros, making it 1.5 cents more expensive than in Riga and 1.3 cents higher than in Vilnius.
The price for diesel fuel in Tallinn was 1.859 euros, which was 10.5 cents cheaper than in Riga and 13.5 cents less expensive than in Vilnius.
