Franco Vassallo debuts Latvian Opera

Italian opera star Franco Vassallo, acclaimed Verdian interpreter in the most important Opera Houses (Metropolitan Opera of New York, Royal Opera House in London, Teatro alla Scala di Milano, Opera de Paris….) will make his debut in Latvia on January 14th singing the role of Don Carlo in Giuseppe Verdi Ernani at the Latvian National Opera House.

The baritone is looking forward debuting in the Country of some of his most beautiful partners on the stage. Vassallo‘s career often led him to perform with the most successeful latvian sopranos as Elīna Garanča, Marina Rebeka and Christine Opolais. He sang with them italian opera masterpieces as Il Baribere di Siviglia, La Traviata, Aida etc...

Just Next July he will sing Puccini‘s La Boheme at the side of Miss Opolais and under the baton of latvian director Andris Nelson with the Boston Simphony Orchestra at Tanglewood Festival.
