The plan consists of 12 separate but interlinked points, covering the most important areas of Riga City Council's responsibility - safety, a family-friendly city, transport infrastructure, housing, utilities, governance, investment, public transport, social services, culture, sport, parks.
"At the municipal level, we need to promote the participation of citizens in decision-making in order to bring about real, desirable changes," said Puce, inviting every citizen of Riga to shape the city the way they want it to be with their ideas and proposals. The politician is convinced that with the implementation of the plan by 2028 Riga will be able to regain its leading position among the Baltic capitals in all positive indicators.
