Flu kills 7 people in Lithuania this season

Seven people have died of influenza in Lithuania this season and the number of ill pregnant women is on the rise, the National Public Health Center said. The number of flu-related deaths during this season so far is twice as high as in the full 2016-2017 flu season, when the illness claimed three lives. None of the seven people who died this season were vaccinated against the flu, the center noted. Eleven pregnant women have been hospitalized  with the flu this year, as many as during the entire flu season last year. ...
