RIGA - Firefighters are still working on the fire which broke out at Depo DIY store in Rezekne on Saturday, State Fire and Rescue Service representative Agrita Vitola told LETA.
The fire was localized on Saturday, but the firefighters are still working to extinguish it completely because the area of the store is large. There are 15-20 firefighters working on the site.
In order to prevent a chemical spill into the Rezekne River, rescuers have set-up absorbing booms.
