Fine for unwarranted calls goes up

The Latvian government has decided that fine for unwarranted calls to the Emergency Medical Service will be raised 40 percent. At the moment, the fine for unwarranted calls to the Emergency Medical Service is EUR 40.14, but in the future the fine will be EUR 56.56. All tariffs of the Emergency Medical Services will also be increased, for instance, the price of ambulance services at public events and others.
