RIGA - Social networking site Facebook has taken down a page dedicated to Latvian legionnaires that contained photographs, accounts, articles from newspapers and excerpts from books about Latvian soldiers during World War II, Delfi reports.
A group of activists launched the page three years ago and had since posted several hundred materials on the page. The total number of subscribers was about 3,300. Part of the materials posted on the page has now been lost, said one of the group's administrators, Maris Jurcins.
Facebook has not yet responded to Jurcins' complaint.
