Face masks to be mandatory again on public transport

RIGA - Passengers on public transport will have to wear masks as of October 7, the government decided today. The requirement will not apply to children younger than 13 and to persons with physical or mental disabilities who are unable to put a mask on, the Health Ministry explained. Face masks on passenger transport will be mandatory until November 6. If the situation improves by then, the restriction could be lifted.
