Extra funds earmarked to improve treatment of cancer patients

Latvia will use the European Commission’s permission to increase the budget deficit and allocate 12.2 million Euros in extra funding in the health budget in order to improve the diagnostics and treatment of cancer patients, the Health Ministry’s representative Evita Bune said.
