Eurovision excitement takes over Tallink Silja Line vessels across the Baltic Sea

During this week, the shared excitement of the Eurovision Song Contest will be brought to sea, as Tallink Silja Line broadcasts all three live shows – both semi-finals and the grand final – across its vessels. Special viewing areas will be set up on selected routes to ensure fans don’t miss a moment and can enjoy the iconic competition together with fellow passengers in a lively, family-friendly atmosphere.

„As a longtime Eurovision fan, I can say that the best way to enjoy the show is together with others,” said Jouni Pihkakorpi, intendant on Silja Symphony and president of the Finnish Eurovision Fan Club OGAE. “When you’re surrounded by fellow fans, cheering, laughing and reacting to every performance, it creates a unique sense of connection. That shared joy is what makes Eurovision so special, and experiencing it at sea takes it to another level,“ he added.

On board Silja Symphony, all three shows will be screened in the ship’s conference rooms, offering a comfortable setting for guests of all ages. Families are warmly invited to attend together, making it a shared experience for both parents and children.

Passengers who travel on Silja Serenade can head to the New York Club & Lounge, where the Eurovision broadcasts will be accompanied by a festive atmosphere. The bar will be open during the shows, and the grand final will feature additional entertainment such as Eurovision bingo and a top-three prediction contest to keep excitement levels high throughout the evening.

On Baltic Princess, all three broadcasts will take place in the Iskelmä venue. As these events are designed for all ages, minors are welcome to stay until the end of the shows, ensuring that younger fans can fully enjoy the performances alongside their families.

Meanwhile, on Baltic Queen, Eurovision screenings will be hosted in the Sea Pub on May 12 and May 14. On May 16, the vessel will operate a charter cruise with alternative onboard programming. Guests of all ages are invited to join the screenings, with children welcome to watch together with their parents.

For those travelling on Victoria I, the Sea Pub will serve as the central hub for Eurovision fans. To make room for the broadcasts, the ship’s regular karaoke programme will end earlier on these evenings. As an open venue, the space allows families to gather and experience the show together.
