European Commission approves Latvia's amendments to support measures in Covid-19 crisis

RIGA - The European Commission has approved amendments to Latvia's support measures in Covid-19 crisis, LETA learned from the European Commission's representation in Latvia.

The European Commission has recognized that amendments to Latvia's program in support to companies affected by the coronavirus outbreak meets the current regulations.

The current program has been approved by the European Commission on December 16, 2020, and first amendments were approved on February 3, 2021.

Latvia reported to the European Commission on a number of amendments, increasing the sum available for the current assets grant program more than four times - to EUR 310.8 million.
