VILNIUS - Delegates from the European Committee for the Prevention of Torture and Inhuman or Degrading Treatment or Punishment (CPT) are due to visit Lithuania between Sept. 5 and 15, according to the Lithuanian Ministry of Justice.
The experts from the delegation will be going to detention institutions and care homes for the disabled, as well as meet with institutional representatives.
The committee first announced plans to visit to Lithuania back in 2015 but did not have a precise timeline or institutions set for visiting.
