EU must strengthen competitiveness, security to address citizens' needs

The citizens expect the EU to offer solutions to specific problems therefore the EU must keep up efforts to strengthen economic competitiveness and security, Latvian parliament speaker Inara Murniece (National Alliance) said during the international conference "Baltic EU Conversations 2018: Is Europe Back?" in Riga on March 23.
