EU defmins to meet in Bratislava over European Defense Action Plan

RIGA - European Union defense ministers will convene for an informal meeting in Bratislava on Sept. 26 and 27 to discuss the establishment of the European Defense Action plan, BNS learned from the Latvian Defense Ministry's press department. Latvia will be represented by Defense Minister Raimonds Bergmanis (Greens/Farmers) at the meeting. The EU's global strategy for foreign affairs and defense will also be a topic of conversation, in addition to EU-NATO co-operation, including the implementation of the decisions reached at the Warsaw Summit....
