TALLINN - Estonian Prime Minister Juri Ratas said that Estonia has managed to control the spread of the novel coronavirus, but a decrease in the spread of the virus cannot be observed yet.
Ratas said at a government press conference on Thursday that unfortunately, a decline in the spread of the coronavirus cannot be observed yet. The situation is stable, the prime minister said.
According to Ratas, Thursday data shows that Estonia has managed to control the situation. He brought as an example that the number of patients requiring intensive care has remained around 10 patients for a week or so.
Ratas affirmed that the government is trying to bring the exit strategy to various interest groups as soon as possible. "We are working every day to get the [exit strategy] blank ready," he said.
